Be In a Dream

Everyone has at least thought of what they wanted, or plan to achieve in the future. People have different interests in life and should consider this in choosing a career, because the most important thing to remember is that you should find a job that you will love to do. Being an accountant in the future is the career that most interests me, because I've always had a love for math. Math is the one subject I am really good at, and I find it really easy and enjoyable to do. The type of education or training I will need for this job is a minimum of four years of a bachelor's degree in accounting. Accountants prepare, analyze, and check the accuracy of financial information. You can work in environments like the government, non-profit organizations, and private businesses. All companies depend on accountants to keep their business running well. The steps I took to learn about this career were advice and information from my family and knowledge from my school classes.

Choose yourself. Love yourself. Respect yourself.

You can’t change the world around you by fighting it in your head. Your stress, anger, disappointment, regret, frustration, and bitterness won’t do anything to alter what it is. You are the only force that can create the change you seek, and you can only do that after you accept things as they are. If you want to change reality start with yourself first and attend to your own personal development. In doing so, problems give way to solutions and no longer affect you. Make peace with the here and now. Let go and stop resisting. It doesn’t have to mean you’ve given up on the possibility of something better. It just means you’ve decided to pursue it from a place of freedom and peace. Choose yourself. Love yourself. Respect yourself. If you make choices from a place of love and understanding the Universe will conspire to bring you the same things you are giving. So, love each moment, welcome each challenge, welcome each change, for the future is yours and the love inside will

JUST ONE YEAR

Goodbye, 2018 and hello, 2019. All the events that took place in my life in the year 2018 are now just memories, whether it was good or bad, happy or sad. As days went by and clock ticked before the most awaited midnight, my mind started to think of the past, realizing what I have done right or wrong in my life. I looked back to the time where I, my mom, brother and sister were having a lovely evening as we wait for the new year. I miss all the warm hugs, kisses, smiles, love and happiness specially during that time of the year and it is surely priceless. My life has to move forward for the betterment of my future which is guided by my dreams and wishes. In this year of 2019, I promise myself to do what is necessary my own improvement. I promise to go on a diet for a healthy lifestyle; to focus more on my priorities like my study; be more responsible as a young man; and specially to pay more attention to my family & apos's needs by means of looking after my young sist

Nationalism & Culture

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”.      It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the first week of February. Included in the course of events is the commemoration of the foundation day of the province. On the opening day, there is usually a mass held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. It is followed by a procession of the Patron Saints of the 40 parishes and images of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary around the city. It is the Ilocanos' way of giving thanks to the Almighty not only for the bountiful blessings but also for the rich heritage of the city, including the close family ties among the Ilocanos. This event showcases the deep-rooted religiosi

Equal Rights: All Human Beings Are Born Free and Equal

What if we want to break the norms?- for men to wear makeup and women to play soccer. What if we change the way we think? What if? Let us change the perspective for one second, flip the coin, toss the die. Change the world in a way such that, we find out what it means to be equal, and what it means to be seen as a collective community There is always a social stigma between effeminate and masculine. Even in the clothing isles, you still see products targeted at specific sexes at present. Mama is supposed to care for the baby, and papa, should work for the family. It's a historical, cultural, social, and ethical norm for many families. Women are for houses, and men are for the workforce. We should strive and begin to create an equal environment for both young and old, rich and poor, man or woman or any gender for that matter. In such in equal environment, people will not be treated based on their ethnicity, relig

A SEASON OF LOVE AND LAUGHTER

I'll find my way back home, and to chime up every tree. We'll hang the stockings, place the gifts below the tree... The fireplace crackles as the northern winds strike the glass window. Fractals of ice bound each corner, as even the door creaks ever so slightly, but it remains jolly to hear. I wish I could tell you, that I enjoy this Christmas, but Santa will sadly will never go down our chimney, for we have none. My heart is the only thing more frozen than this winter atmosphere, the world so unfair made me poor and impoverished; not to indulge in the providence of wealth, but I assume that it would be happier with a lot of money. After all, everything is happier with money. People would not work hard for it anyways if it did not matter. I've experienced every kind of Christmas, there's the merry and the sound, but there's the melancholic and the frown. Christmas as you can say it, is a "Bo
